University of Michigan School of Public Health Lecturer (2019-2020): Developed and presented lecture content, readings, and assessment for “Neighborhoods and the Environment” course section of an online Social Epidemiology master’s-level course.


University of Minnesota Project Supervisor (2015-2018):
Promote junior scholar mentorship, training, and development to participate in fieldwork, analysis and dissemination. Develop specific research assistant training plans; schedule regular collaborative meetings; and supervise data collection, analysis and manuscript development.

The Midwest Center for Life Long Learning in Public Health, Concepts in Community Engagement Course: Teaching Assistant (2012): Consulted regularly with students to develop goals and action plans to train others in public health community engagement.

Queen’s University Department of Geography Teaching Assistant (2010-2011): Developed innovative small-group activities to coordinate with course lecture material. Assisted in the design of evaluation and course instruction. 

Queen’s University Elementary Educator (2006-2011): Taught primary-junior education (Grades 1-8) in conjunction with Concurrent Bachelor of Education degree. Completed teaching practicums in Ontario schools (Limestone School District) and internationally in El Salvador (international practicum).
